How We're Different
At Gracie North Port, we keep things simple. No egos, no special treatment, no weird traditions that make you feel out of place. Just real people learning jiu jitsu together.
Coach Dom is approachable and laid back. He makes sure everyone feels comfortable, whether it’s your first class or your hundredth. You won’t hear anyone demanding bows or titles — around here, it’s just “Coach” or even just “Dom.”
We’ve got all kinds of students on the mats — parents, kids, people who want to get in shape, and competitors chasing medals. Everyone trains side by side, encouraging each other and pushing each other to get better.
If you’re brand new, you’ll fit right in. If you’ve got experience, you’ll still find challenges and good training partners. And if competing is your thing, you’ll get the coaching to take it seriously. Bottom line: Gracie North Port is a place where you’ll learn solid jiu jitsu, have fun doing it, and feel like you belong.
